This form is only valid for the use of TED University Ayşe Ilıcak Library "Block B".
The form covers primary, secondary and high school students and users preparing for university exams.
Failure to fill in the mandatory fields on the form will result in incomplete membership and no access to the library.
After the form is filled out, the university security unit will provide an identity check at the entrance of the library.
The validity period of the form is 1 (one) year from the date of completion. Memberships of users who do not renew the membership form at the end of one year are automatically canceled.
Rules to be followed to make effective use of the library
- Carry your visitor entrance card with you and show it to the staff when necessary.
- Users are prohibited from walking around the campus (playgrounds, pool, gym, etc.) except in TEDU Ayşe Ilıcak Library. In cases detected by security, the user will be banned from using the library indefinitely.
- On midterm and final dates specified in the academic calendar, the use of the library will be restricted or the library will be temporarily closed to outside use.
- The library is closed on public holidays and holidays unless otherwise stated.
- Announcements such as working hours etc. are published on the library's web page. It is the users' responsibility to follow the announcements.
- Users can use the library during working hours. In case of emergency (fire, flood, etc.), the librarian may ask users to leave the library.
- People are responsible for their personal belongings. TEDU Ayşe Ilıcak Library does not accept any responsibility in case of loss or theft.
- When entering and leaving the library, bags, books and belongings should be shown to the library staff when necessary.
- External users can use all library facilities (printed and electronic resources, periodicals, wireless internet, etc.) within the library. They cannot benefit from the lending service.
- Food and beverages that may cause noise and disturbance cannot be consumed inside the library.
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere in TEDU Ayşe Ilıcak Library.
- Turn off or silence your cell phone at the entrance.
- Do not talk or behave in a way that disturbs others in the library.
TED University requests your personal data specified in the Ayşe Ilıcak Library membership form for the limited purpose of performing library membership transactions. Your personal data mentioned above is shared with the Information Technologies Directorate in order to open your user accounts so that you can benefit from library services. User account information is sent to the e-mail address specified in the membership form. Personal data are collected and processed by electronic mail based on the legal reason of TED University's legitimate interest, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the person concerned as specified in subparagraph f of paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.
